Accessibility
Last updated 10 September 2026
We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using a screen reader, keyboard only, magnification or a phone in bright sunlight.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with real headings, landmarks and lists, so assistive technology can navigate the page structure.
- Every image carries alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- The whole site works with a keyboard, and focus is always visible.
- Body text meets or exceeds the WCAG 2.2 AA contrast ratio against its background.
- Text reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320px wide, and stays readable when zoomed to 200%.
- Motion is kept minimal, and animation is switched off for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion.
- Form fields have permanent visible labels, not placeholder-only labels.
Where we fall short
Some of our brand logos are supplied to us as fixed images, so the words inside them cannot be resized as text. We describe each one in its alternative text instead.
Our venue and business websites are run separately and are not covered by this statement.
Tell us if something does not work
If you hit a barrier on this site, email privacy@the85group.com and describe what happened and what you were using. We will reply within five working days and tell you how we plan to fix it.
Enforcement
If you are not happy with our response, the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) can advise you. This statement was prepared on 10 September 2026.
